The Santiago program will focus on sustainability in Chile exploring global and local perspectives, urban sustainability, and indigenous views on sustainability and conservation. Prominent members of the local academic community and a Stanford faculty in residence teach courses in each BOSP global program. A Joint Congressional Oversight Committee is hereby created, composed of the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Constitutional Amendments, Revision of Codes and Laws, and seven (7) other Senators designated by the Senate President, and the Chairman of the House Committee on Suffrage and Electoral Reforms, and seven (7) other Members of the House of Representatives designated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives: Provided, That, of the seven (7) members to be designated by each House of Congress, four (4) should come from the majority and the remaining three (3) from the minority. In addition, the offender shall be sentenced to suffer perpetual disqualification to hold public office and deprivation of the right to vote. Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to prohibit free discussion regarding politics or candidates for public office.
