The West Ham news source reported on 6 January that Moyes is no longer as keen on Broja as he once was, and therefore the potential of a January move has fallen.

Broja’s future at Chelsea is uncertain, with the West London club said to be open to offers in January while they chase other targets in the January transfer window.

In Moyes we trust
If, as has been widely reported, the Hammers are placing their faith in Moyes by offering him a new contract to remain at the London Stadium, then they must trust his decisions when it comes to transfer targets and who he wants to strengthen his squad.
Previous reports had suggested Moyes was keen on a deal for Broja, but he now appears to have dropped his interest in the Albanian in favour of potential other targets.
A new striker is a priority for West Ham in the January transfer window, with links to the likes of Santiago Gimenez, Dominic Solanke and Serhou Guirassy, all of whom have played and scored plenty more than Broja so far this season, which could be key to the change of heart.
