Mikel Arteta sought to downplay speculations of Emile Smith Rowe’s departure for West Ham.
Speaking before of his side’s Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace, Arteta said Smith Rowe is established at the club despite speculation.
“I’m quite delighted with Emile. He’s on the right track,” the Arsenal boss stated.
“Now, he’s settled, he’s training really well and you know I’m not going to talk about individual situations.”
West Ham has allegedly made an offer to recruit Arsenal youth product Smith Rowe on loan.
Smith Rowe has had a hard time since scoring ten goals in the 2021-22 season, with groin surgery limiting his involvement in the club’s disappointing championship challenge last season.
