Green added, “Pacers talked a lot,” to begin a section of the show. “[Damian Lillard] had something to say.”

Lillard was Milwaukee’s main driving force. By halftime, he had 35 points; for the majority of the first two quarters, only he was able to stay up with the blue and gold on the scoreboard. “The first part was awkward. After the game, Rick Carlisle, the head coach of the Pacers, remarked, “No excuses.” “We just need to perform better. We all have to admit that it was ugly.”

Despite the absence of Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, Green stated that he thinks this is the best squad Lillard has been on. In the first game, Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez, and Patrick Beverley were all productive.

“If I’m the Pacers, I’m a little worried,” Green admitted, expressing his confidence in Lillard’s ability to succeed. The The standout from Milwaukee concluded with three assists, six rebounds, and 35 points. The star forward for Golden State continued, praising Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard for his defensive prowess, but arguing that Nembhard is too tiny to cover Lillard.

Four-time All-Star and past Defensive Player of the Year Green was questioned by his producer if he believed the Pacers were a better team in the regular season (a team of 82 games) or a better team in the postseason (a team of 16 games).

They haven’t defended anybody all year.” “They have such a potent offensive… When it comes to the playoffs, you have to defend, like I stated to begin this series. In transition, you can’t just run. It will be necessary for you to execute in the halfcourt.”

He continued by saying that he still thought Indiana’s high-powered offense came from outrunning opponents, something that is more difficult in the tournament when teams don’t turn the ball over. beyond that amount. Green believes that the Pacers’ half-court play needs to improve.
