Without VAR in the Premier League, where would Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United, Arsenal, and other teams rank?

Liverpool are now on their winter break, not returning to Premier League action until next weekend, while Everton take on Aston Villa this weekend. The Reds are currently top of the Premier League, starting the season excellently despite not being either of the two favourites to lift the title, with the Toffees battling relegation after their points deduction.

Jurgen Klopp overhauled his midfield over the summer, and Liverpool are still supposed to be in rebuild mode, but they have other ideas as they battle for a second Premier League title.

In the meantime, we have put together a without VAR table to see where each team would rank without the technology. We calculate this by taking each overturned goal decision and going with the decision on the pitch. Take a look below to see where Liverpool rank.

1. 20 – Sheffield United

Points Without VAR: 8. Difference: -1.

2.  Burnley

Points Without VAR: 13. Difference: +2.

3. 18 -LUTON TOWN

Luton Town

Points Without VAR: 15. Difference: 0.

4.  – Everton

Points Without VAR: 17* (*10-point deduction). Difference: +1.
