Trending Dukes recruiting wishlist for 2026..

As of Thursday, May 1, 2025, Duke Basketball’s recruiting efforts for the class of 2026 are actively underway. While no commitments have been made yet, several top prospects have received offers and are considered high on the Blue Devils’ wishlist.

Here are some key names to watch in Duke’s 2026 recruiting:

* Brandon McCoy Jr. (Point Guard): Ranked as the No. 2 overall player in the 247Sports 2026 Composite, McCoy is a dynamic point guard from St. John Bosco High School (CA). He visited Duke on an official visit in November 2024 and is a major priority for the program. He has expressed interest in potentially teaming up with fellow top recruit Jordan Smith Jr. in college.

* Jordan Smith Jr. (Shooting Guard): A five-star guard from Paul VI Catholic High School (VA), Smith is ranked No. 6 overall in the composite rankings. Duke’s assistant coach Chris Carrawell has visited Smith, indicating strong interest. Smith has mentioned that he could envision playing with Brandon McCoy Jr. in college.

* Christian Collins (Power Forward): A recent addition to Duke’s offer list, Collins is a five-star power forward and teammate of Brandon McCoy Jr. at St. John Bosco. Ranked No. 3 overall, his offer came after a visit from Duke’s coaching staff. He averaged a near double-double in his high school season.

* Miikka Muurinen (Power Forward): A versatile stretch-four from Finland playing at Compass Prep (AZ), Muurinen is ranked No. 8 overall. He received an offer from Duke in July 2024 and had a visit scheduled to Durham. There was some consideration of him potentially reclassifying to the 2025 class.

* Sebastian Wilkins (Forward): A four-star forward from Brewster Academy (NH), Wilkins received an offer from Duke in April 2025. Ranked No. 31 overall, he is a highly regarded talent with offers from several other programs. There is a possibility he might reclassify to the 2025 class.

It’s important to note that recruiting is a fluid process, and Duke’s wishlist may evolve as the 2026 cycle progresses. However, these players represent some of the top targets for Coach Jon Scheyer and his staff as they aim to build another talented roster for the future.
