Tragedy at Penn State: Stadium Collapse Claims Lives, Injures Many in what is being called one of the darkest days in Penn State University’s history, a devastating stadium collapse during a spring football scrimmage has claimed multiple lives and left scores injured. Saturday’s collapse has prompted serious questions about the integrity of the structure and whether warning signs were overlooked. University President Dr. Elaine Marston issued a statement expressing deep sorrow for the victims and their families, and pledged a full investigation. “We are heartbroken. We will uncover what happened and take every step necessary to ensure this never happens again.”Structural engineers and investigators have already begun combing
