The structure collapsed without warning, plunging hundreds of fans downward and causing a chaotic scene of panic, dust, and debris. Emergency crews responded within minutes, but the destruction was already severe. As of the latest update from university and local officials, at least 15 people have died, with over 70 injured—many critically.The game, which was intended to be a lighthearted intra-squad scrimmage to cap off spring training, quickly turned into a nightmare. “It was supposed to be a fun day,” said one student, visibly shaken. “Then we heard the sound, and people just started screaming.
