This could become an historic draft as Another Mock NBA Draft Has Three Blue Devils In The Top Six Picks, incredible…

We missed this story a couple of days ago but CBS has their latest NBA Mock Draft up and while no journalist that we’re aware of is participating in the draft, this is the second mock draft we’ve seen lately that has three Blue Devils going in the Top Six picks.

Kyle Boone has Cooper Flagg going first, as just about every mock draft we’ve seen does, and then has Khaman Maluach going to Philly with the #5 pick. That roughly correlates with what Yahoo’s Kevin O’Connor had recently, but he had Maluach as the #6 pick.

Right behind Maluach, Boone has Kon Knueppel going at #6 to the Brooklyn Nets.

That would be huge for Duke if all three go in the Top Ten, much less the Top Six.

We’re particularly intrigued by the better projections for Maluach. Not long ago, he was seen as a late first-round pick and in a couple even drifted into the second.

Needless to say, we won’t know much until the draft lottery on May 12th and even then we will only know where Flagg is going to go. Even so, it’s encouraging to see all three so well regarded.
