NFL RUMORS: Vikings player reportely prefer the team to bring back Kirk Cousins over Aaron Rodgers

The Aaron Rodgers saga and his NFL future is far from over. The veteran quarterback has yet to respond to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who continue to wait for him. It’s said that Rodgers is holding out for a formal offer from the Minnesota Vikings in hopes of returning to the NFC North, where he had great years with the Green Bay Packers.

The truth is, Rodgers is an extremely talented player, even at 41 years of age. However, he’s a ticking time bomb – he can bring a lot to a locker room, but he can also disrupt the harmony of an entire group due to the way he conducts himself. That’s likely why the Vikings, who are a contending team, are thinking twice about signing him.Because of this situation, even though Cousins has a major contract, he could be available on the market – and a confidential source reports that Vikings players would prefer bringing back Kirk Cousins over signing Aaron Rodgers.

The offense under Cousins had some great moments, along with a few tough ones. Since his arrival in the NFL in 2020, Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson, working with Cousins, has totaled 5,899 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns. In fact, in 2022, Jefferson was named Offensive Player of the Year, racking up 1,809 yards – the majority of which came from Cousins’ accurate passes. The Vikings locker room prefers the return of Kirk Cousins
