WVU legend and NFL quarterback Pat White has returned to WVU and will join Rich Rodriguez’s coaching staff.
Pat White is one of the most prolific names in WVU football history, and he returns to the team as an Assistant Quarterbacks Coach/Assistant to the Head Coach. He was previously the running backs coach at the University of South Florida after getting hired for the position in 2020.
White played for the Mountaineers from 2005-2008 and played under head coach Rich Rodriguez. In that time, he became the first college quarterback to start and win four consecutive bowl games while recording 6,049 passing yards and 53 passing touchdowns and throwing 23 interceptions. White is known as one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the history of the sport for his rushing ability and recorded 4,480 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns.
Pat White lands back in his alma mater in Morgantown and will reunite with Rich Rodriguez and his staff.
