Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping that his team is finally rewarded for the opportunities they’ve generated this season when they face Fulham in the West London Derby on Monday.
Chelsea (1-3-2, 5 points) have struggled to recover from last year’s poor 12th-place finish under their new manager, despite hints that the quality of their play is improving. The biggest concern has been an injury-plagued offensive corps that has failed to capitalize on opportunities.
Striker Nicolas Jackson, a summer addition, has only scored once in the league, and the Blues have gone goalless in their previous three league games.
