Chelsea (1-3-2, 5 points) have struggled to recover from last year’s poor 12th-place finish under their new manager, despite hints that the quality of their play is improving. The biggest concern has been an injury-plagued offensive corps that has failed to capitalize on opportunities.
Striker Nicolas Jackson, a summer addition, has only scored once in the league, and the Blues have gone goalless in their previous three league games.

It’s a difficult run, but one Pochettino feels he’s more prepared for than in prior Premier League stays at Southampton and Tottenham. “My balance is much better than 10 years ago” he told me.
“I am more mature now, and I try to maintain my cool.” “I hope my wife is pleased with my new behavior!”The coaching staff has also matured. Unlike in the past, we are not overly moved emotionally.

Despite Chelsea’s somewhat superior position in the rankings, Silva sees them as a team with immense potential. “Chelsea is Chelsea,” he asserted emphatically. “No one can underestimate them because the quality is there.”Of course, they haven’t gotten off to the best start. Since Mauricio (Pochettino) arrived, he has been working hard to get everything in order for them to battle for titles, as they desire, but it is not the most important thing for us. We’ll go look for ourselves.”
