Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has expressed deep gratitude following the inaugural season of Unrivaled, a women’s 3-on-3 basketball league she joined in January 2025. Reese’s team, Rose Basketball Club (Rose BC), made history by securing the league’s first championship.
Throughout the 10-week season, Reese delivered standout performances, leading the league in rebounds with an average of 12.2 per game. Her versatility was evident as she also contributed 13.1 points and 1.3 steals per game. Notably, she achieved the first 20-20 game in Unrivaled history, recording 22 points and 21 rebounds in a victory over the Lunar Owls.
Reese’s exceptional contributions earned her the Defensive Player of the Year award and a spot on the All-Unrivaled Second Team. Her leadership was instrumental in Rose BC’s championship win, where they triumphed over Vinyl BC with a 62-54 victory. Teammate Chelsea Gray’s performance, including scoring 18 points and being named Finals MVP, complemented Reese’s efforts, solidifying the team’s dominance.
