Sitake Believes BYU’s Mory Bamba Has ‘All The Tools’ To Be Big-Time Cornerback
SALT LAKE CITY – BYU Cougars defensive back Mory Bamba enters his redshirt senior season with something to prove.
Bamba is the next Cougar to find a place on the 2025 KSL Sports Zone Hans & Scotty G. 60 in 60 watchlist.
“Mory Bamba is really big, long, and super fast,” Cougar head coach Kalani Sitake said. “When you combine that with how physical and how strong he is, pound for pound, one of the strongest guys on our team as well. (He) definitely has the speed and the ability to play for the next level as a cornerback.”

Bamba has shown a strong work ethic, and his overall technique has improved while at BYU.
“I think he’s really started coming along,” Sitake said. “It’s all starting to come together for him. I think it’s going to be a great year for him… He’s a guy who has all the tools that are needed to be a big-time cornerback.”
