In a historic performance at the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship in Carlsbad, California, Ole Miss junior Michael La Sasso clinched the individual national title with an impressive 11-under-par 277, becoming only the second Rebel to achieve this feat, following Braden Thornberry’s 2017 victory.
La Sasso’s stellar play not only secured his individual crown but also propelled the Rebels into the team match play semifinals for the first time in program history. The team edged out Florida State by a single stroke to claim the eighth and final spot in match play, marking a significant milestone for Ole Miss golf.
