However, there is no credible or official confirmation of such a commitment. In fact, Ace Bailey, a standout freshman at Rutgers University, has declared for the 2025 NBA Draft after a notable season with the Scarlet Knights.
Bailey’s decision to enter the NBA Draft follows a season where he averaged 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, earning him Third-team All-Big Ten and Big Ten All-Freshman Team honors. His performance has positioned him as a projected top-five pick in the upcoming draft.
While Bailey had previously received scholarship offers from various programs, including Ole Miss, during his high school recruitment, he ultimately chose Rutgers, where he played the 2024–2025 season.
