Pat Beverley likes to have fun in the virtual world of the internet. He is even the owner of a podcast.
Using it, he broadcast live the news of his February trade to the Milwaukee Bucks.
However, during the next 48 hours, his microphone may be lowered a little. Numerous Bucks and NBA supporters are making fun of the veteran guard on social media for his defensive play against Tyrese Haliburton before Haliburton’s game-winning basket in Game 3 of the Bucks’ playoff series against the Indiana Pacers, which ended in overtime, 121-118.
Beverley was immediately placed in the spin cycle by Haliburton:
Although the Bucks’ bench only managed six points, supporters begged for youngster Andre Jackson to get more playing time right away. Jackson scored two points in seventeen minutes, while Beverley scored eleven in forty-two.
Jackson did, however, have one plus-plus-plus block and a plus-minus rating of +7.
