Southampton are apparently preparing an aggressive summer bid for Sunderland winger Jack Clarke, who is being pursued by numerous Premier League clubs.
The 23-year-old winger is regarded as one of the Championship’s most dynamic players, and his performance is anticipated to improve as he gains more experience.
Clarke has an outstanding 15 goals and four assists in 33 league games for Sunderland.
Between 2019 to 2022, the attacker spent three years with Tottenham, however he did not feature for the club. According to sources, he is already preparing for another season in the Premier League.
Clarke would be leaving Sunderland if they are not promoted this season. The Black Cats are presently in 10th place in the Championship standings, four points below the play-off positions.
Southampton, on the other hand, in third place, two points behind an automatic promotion slot and with a game in hand on second-place Leeds United.
