Ole Miss Cheerleading Makes History with First-Ever Division IA All-Girl National Title
The University of Mississippi’s cheerleading squad has achieved a historic milestone by securing their first national championship in the Division IA Traditional All-Girl category at the 2025 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College Nationals. This victory marks the Rebels’ fourth national title in the past eight years, highlighting the program’s consistent excellence in collegiate cheerleading.
Competing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida, the Ole Miss cheer team delivered a stellar performance, earning a score of 88.5 in the semifinals to advance to the finals. They clinched the national title with an impressive 91.4 in the finals, showcasing their athleticism, precision, and teamwork.
This championship adds to the Rebels’ previous national titles in the D1A All-Girl Game Day category in 2018 and 2022, and the D1A Spirit Program Game Day category in 2023. The team’s consistent success underscores their dedication and the strength of the Ole Miss cheer program.
To honor this achievement, Ole Miss celebrated the national title-winning squad during a men’s basketball game at the Sandy & John Black Pavilion, where the Rebels hosted Mississippi State. The event provided fans an opportunity to recognize the cheer team’s hard work and success on a national stage.
