Ole Miss Rebels Cheerleading Squad Crowned World’s Best After Historic UCA Nationals Victory
In a landmark achievement for collegiate cheerleading, the Ole Miss Rebels cheerleading squad has been crowned the world’s best after securing their first-ever national title in the Division IA Traditional All-Girl category at the 2025 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College Nationals. The competition, held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida, showcased the pinnacle of cheerleading talent from across the nation.
The Rebels delivered a record-breaking performance, earning a score of 88.5 in the semifinals and elevating to an impressive 91.4 in the finals. This victory marks their fourth UCA national championship in the past eight years, adding to previous titles in the D1A All-Girl Game Day category in 2018 and 2022, and the D1A Spirit Program Game Day competition in 2023.
Head coach Skylar Casey expressed immense pride in the team’s accomplishment, stating, “I’m extremely proud of this team and these athletes. They worked so hard for this accomplishment and they completely deserve it. The culture and standard that this team set is extraordinary.”
