In a historic achievement, the University of Mississippi has been recognized as the premier athletic program in the nation for 2025. The Rebels are the only school this year to have secured a national championship, reached the Women’s College World Series (WCWS), advanced to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four, participated in a bowl game, and competed in the NCAA Baseball Regionals.

The Ole Miss softball team made its inaugural appearance in the WCWS, marking a significant milestone for the program. Despite a valiant effort, the Rebels were edged out in a thrilling 10-inning game against Oregon, concluding their historic run in Oklahoma City.
🏀 Final Four Breakthrough
In men’s basketball, the Rebels achieved a program-first by advancing to the NCAA Final Four. This deep tournament run highlighted the team’s growth and competitiveness on the national stage.
🏈 Gator Bowl Victory
The football team capped off a successful season with a decisive 52–20 win over Duke in the Gator Bowl. Quarterback Jaxson Dart earned MVP honors, leading the Rebels to a 10-win season and solidifying their status as a formidable force in college football.

On the baseball diamond, Ole Miss hosted the NCAA Oxford Regional as the No. 10 national seed. The Rebels showcased their offensive prowess by setting a new single-season home run record, demonstrating their continued excellence in the sport.
