Minnesota Vikings’ first-round pick, offensive guard Donovan Jackson, has officially signed his rookie contract, the team announced Thursday. The four-year deal is fully guaranteed at $17.18 million and includes a signing bonus of $9.42 million. This signing completes the Vikings’ rookie class signings for 2025.
Jackson, selected 24th overall after a stellar career at Ohio State, is expected to step into a starting role immediately, bolstering the interior of the Vikings’ offensive line. During his time as a Buckeye, Jackson showcased his versatility, starting multiple seasons at left guard and even stepping in at left tackle during his senior year. He earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors three times and was recognized as a First-Team All-American in 2024.
Vikings fans are hopeful that Jackson’s addition will solidify the offensive line and contribute to a successful 2025 season. With the entire rookie class now under contract, the team can fully focus on preparations for the upcoming year.
