Netflix has announced an upcoming docuseries that will provide an immersive look into the 2024 Southeastern Conference (SEC) football season. Produced by Box To Box Films, known for acclaimed sports documentaries like “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” and “Full Swing,” the eight-episode series will offer unprecedented access to players, coaches, and behind-the-scenes moments across 10 SEC schools, including Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
Each 45-minute episode will delve into the drama and pageantry of SEC football, capturing the intensity and passion that define the conference. The series is set to premiere on Netflix in the summer of 2025, bringing the excitement of college football to a global audience.
While the University of Oregon is not featured in this Netflix series, the Ducks have produced their own compelling documentaries. “Rooted in Substance,” released on June 25, 2024, explores the transformative partnership between Oregon and Nike co-founder Phil Knight, highlighting how this relationship propelled the Ducks into a national football powerhouse.
