Penn State football continues to strengthen its 2025 recruiting class with the addition of standout linebacker Amare Campbell. Campbell, a transfer from North Carolina, brings significant experience and talent to the Nittany Lions’ defense.
During his sophomore season at North Carolina, Campbell started all 13 games, recording 76 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. His performance showcases his ability to make impactful plays and lead a defense effectively.
Campbell’s commitment to Penn State is part of a broader effort by head coach James Franklin to enhance the team’s defensive capabilities. With Campbell’s addition, the Nittany Lions aim to bolster their linebacker corps and maintain a competitive edge in the Big Ten.
This move underscores Penn State’s commitment to recruiting top-tier talent and reinforcing its position as a formidable force in college football.
