As of now, there is no verified report confirming that the nation’s No. 1 quarterback recruit for the 2025 class has committed to Penn State over programs like Florida State, Nebraska, or Alabama. The top-ranked quarterback prospect for 2025, Bryce Underwood, has committed to LSU.
Penn State’s 2025 recruiting class does not currently include a five-star quarterback. However, the Nittany Lions have secured commitments from notable prospects, including tight end Andrew Olesh and offensive lineman Malachi Goodman. Olesh flipped his commitment from Michigan to Penn State, and Goodman chose the Nittany Lions over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, and USC.
Looking ahead, Penn State has a commitment from four-star quarterback Troy Huhn for the 2026 class. Huhn, ranked as the 20th-best quarterback nationally by the 247Sports Composite, recently earned an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals, highlighting his potential as a future leader for the program.
While Penn State continues to build a strong recruiting foundation, there is no current confirmation of a commitment from the nation’s top quarterback recruit for the 2025 class.
