Tim joined the Premier League side from Bayer Leverkusen last summer as their brand-new Technical Director (West Ham United Official, 1 July) and has set about upgrading their recruitment and analysis department.
Moritz joins from Werder Bremen, with Max Hahn also arriving in East London from the Bundesliga outfit as the club’s new Head of Technical Recruitment and Analysis.
Positive signs for West Ham?
Bringing his brother to the club will only increase the chances of Tim staying put at West Ham.
Rumours have been circulating suggesting that the Technical Director could potentially be on the move, with Liverpool mooted as a possible destination.
However with a family member set to arrive at the club, surely he would have no interest in leaving now.
Of course, no one knows exactly what the pair’s relationship is like behind the scenes, but as brothers, they will likely have an understanding of each other which could help in the workplace.
If they do have a close relationship with each other, Tim would likely be keen to extend his time at the London Stadium to have the opportunity to work alongside his brother.

The senior figure has been a valuable asset since arriving at the club, overseeing the signings of Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez, and supporters will be keen for him to stay put for the foreseeable future.
