Nottingham Forest has successfully acquired Strasbourg goalkeeper Matz Sels.
Forest and the French team reached an agreement early on Thursday to pay €6 million (£5.1 million, $6.5 million) for the 31-year-old Belgium international.
Sels has already committed to a three-and-a-half-year contract with Forest because he was eager to play in the Premier League.
Nuno remarked, “It’s a good finish; I believe that was his only option. A wonderful header. Chris is providing what we need—goals and more. He’s a fantastic athlete.”
“It was challenging because there were more crossing spaces in the expansive areas. We persisted despite our attempts to produce various things. I’m going to watch the game again to see what actually transpired without the emotions there.
“We needed this win but there are positives to take to the next game.”
He went on to say of Sels’ saves, “This is what we want our goalie to do. to offer us chances to play again and to assist us in staying in the game.”
