When asked about his former Clemson teammate, running back Phil Mafah didn’t hesitate to offer praise for forward PJ Hall’s successor, Jack Schieffelin. As the Tigers prepare for a new era on the basketball court, Mafah made it clear—he has no doubt Schieffelin will thrive.
Schieffelin, known for his gritty defense, high basketball IQ, and work ethic, has steadily improved over his time with the program. Now stepping into a larger leadership role, the versatile forward is expected to anchor Clemson’s frontcourt and become a focal point for the team both on and off the court. Mafah, who shared countless hours in the weight room and on campus with Schieffelin, believes the 6-foot-7 junior has all the qualities needed to rise to the occasion.
