Kim Mulkey has made her feelings very clear on six players deciding to leave LSU ” No one is Bigger than the Team”

LSU head coach Kim Mulkey has insisted that she bears “no animosity” towards players who have decided to depart the Tigers – after six stars decided to leave following the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

Mjracle Sheppard was the latest LSU star to have been confirmed to have entered the transfer portal in recent times after the team’s Elite Eight exit. In addition to her, Jersey Wolfenbarger, Last-Tear Poa, Sa’Myah Smith, Amani Bartlett and Aalyah Del Rosario have followed suit – as the Tigers’ roster promises to have a new look moving forward. Moreover, coach Mulkey will also have to do without Aneesah Morrow moving forward, as she embarked on a WNBA career after being drafted by the Connecticut Sun. However, it appears that the veteran figure has not taken this exodus of players personally, as she addressed their departures. Now, do I believe in my heart of hearts that you’re gonna be any happier somewhere else? Maybe if you get more playing time. But as you see, not just at LSU but across the country, starters are transferring, All-Americans are transferring.Speaking on April 23 to WAFB9 Sports, she revealed her stance towards players who have chosen to continue their careers beyond Baton Rouge. Keeping a level-head, she admitted: “I don’t have animosity, I don’t have anger toward any of these players. What I want for them is happiness
