The New Orleans Saints were entering a pivotal 2025 NFL Draft as it was the first with their new head coach in Kellen Moore. The Saints also entered the draft with needing to figure out the quarterback position with Derek Carr’s shoulder injury, and multiple other areas to address as they have an aging roster and needed to make improvements.
That did not happen, and instead, the Saints had arguably one of the worst drafts this year. Between the poor draft decisions, paired with roster construction, the Saints now must consider moving on from Mickey Loomis as the general manager, and the ideal replacement for them to consider is Jon Gruden.
