Between Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson and his former teammate Dalton Schultz, who is currently with the Houston Texans, there might be some tension developing.
Ferguson shared this enigmatic photo of the Cowboys’ locker room on Instagram on Friday, with the caption, “It is a privilege, not a right, to play coach and work for the Dallas Cowboys.” Ferguson didn’t specifically name anyone in his account, but he didn’t really need to in light of the recent developments.
This week, Schultz—a tight end for the Cowboys from 2018 to 2022—took to The Pat McAfee Show to air his complaints about the team’s culture, which he likened to “a zoo.”
“While you’re exercising weights in the gym, there are individuals literally going on tours. It’s like a zoo, buddy, and they have a one-way mirror for people to gaze at.”
When you add two and two together, you can conclude that Ferguson most certainly shared his story in response to Schultz’s remarks.
In 2022, Ferguson was a rookie tight end, and they spent just one season together as teammates. Ferguson was able to enter because Schultz, who was on the franchise tag that season, ended up moving to Houston across the state.to become the starting tight end.
