It’s Official: NEWS: Miami (OH) transfer Reece Potter, a 7-foot-1 center and Lexington native, has committed to Kentucky

7’1 center Reece Potter has committed to Kentucky. Reece is a native of Lexington, and he spent his first two college seasons at Miami (OH).

Reece went on to say, “They didn’t have to sell me on anything. I have always known what the blue and white means, being a Kentucky kid.”

Former Lexington Catholic star Reece Potter has officially signed with Kentucky for the 2025-26 season.

 

Potter is transferring to UK from Miami (OH) where he averaged 6.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season. He is a career 39.8% shooter from three-point range.
