In this era of college athletics, where basically everybody transfers, it’s refreshing to have a player return to their school for another season. It used to be the standard, especially with underclassmen, but nowadays it’s pretty rare.Getting two guys to return is even tougher, but that’s what Kentucky has pulled off in the last week. After Brandon Garrison announced last weekend that he was coming back, Collin Chandler did the same on Thursday afternoon. The 6-foot-5 freshman guard averaged 2.7 points per game last season, but found more confidence late in the season and bumped that average up to 6.0 points per game with 1.7 steals per game as well.Otega Oweh announced he was declaring for the NBA Draft but keeping his collegiate eligibility, leaving the window open for him to return to Kentucky for his senior season.
Garrison was a sophomore big man last year off the bench, and returned to Mark Pope where he will likely find himself in the starting lineup next season at center
