Title: “It’s Great to Be a Michigan Wolverine”: A 〽️ New Era Begins in Ann Arbor
There are college football traditions — and then there’s Michigan. From the winged helmets to The Big House, from Bo Schembechler to Harbaugh’s championship return, the maize and blue run deeper than colors — they’re a calling. And in 2025, that calling has never echoed louder.
Coming off a national title in 2023 and a College Football Playoff semifinal in 2024, the Michigan Wolverines enter the 2025 season not just as contenders — but as standard bearers. The “Revenge Tour 2.0,” as fans have dubbed it, is underway. With new leadership, star talent, and a chip on their shoulder, the Wolverines are out to prove that Michigan is no longer chasing greatness — they are greatness.
At the center of it all? A revitalized roster and a relentless culture forged in snowy Ann Arbor winters, brutal Big Ten matchups, and unwavering fan pride.
> “It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine,” senior linebacker Tyrone Griffin Jr. shouted during Big Ten Media Days. “But it’s even better when teams know what’s coming and still can’t stop us.”
The 2025 team is built on that identity — tough, disciplined, explosive. Quarterback DeShawn Bradley, a dual-threat phenom from Ohio (yes, Ohio), enters the season as a dark-horse Heisman candidate after throwing for 2,800 yards and rushing for another 800 last year. Behind him is a punishing offensive line, led by All-American guard Liam McKenzie, and a backfield that features the fastest tailback tandem in the country.
Defensively, the Wolverines are downright terrifying. Their front seven, anchored by junior edge rusher Coleton Price, is being hailed as the most physical group in the country. “We want to make every quarterback regret waking up that morning,” Price said with a grin.
Off the field, Michigan’s momentum continues to surge. Recruiting is at an all-time high, with the 2026 class ranked No. 1 nationally. NIL opportunities have been streamlined through the “Victors Collective,” allowing players to stay focused and stay in Ann Arbor. And The Big House? It just expanded to 111,000 seats. Sellouts are already projected for every home game.
> “When you step onto that field, you don’t just play football,” said head coach Mike Hart, the former Michigan running back now leading the charge after Harbaugh’s NFL exit. “You carry the weight of legends. And we’ve got a new generation ready to be legendary.”
Every fall Saturday in Ann Arbor is a spectacle — flyovers, fight songs, 〽️ flags waving in the crisp air. But this season feels different. It feels inevitable.
Social media is buzzing with the phrase: 〽️ Find out now.
〽️ The climb is over.
〽️ We are the summit. And from the student section to the alumni in the suites, from the players in the tunnel to the echoes of The Victors across the nation, one truth rings louder than ever:
It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine.
Now, the world’s about to find out why.
