Injury-Plagued Georgia Bulldogs to Miss Over 10 Players in Spring Game

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs will be short-handed for their annual G-Day spring game, with over ten players expected to miss the event due to various injuries.

Head coach Kirby Smart confirmed that a number of key contributors, including running back Branson Robinson, linebacker Smael Mondon, and safety Malaki Starks, are currently sidelined. Several players, such as offensive lineman Bo Hughley and defensive lineman Christen Miller, have undergone surgeries and are in recovery.

Freshman Demello Jones and veteran wide receiver Rara Thomas are among those dealing with minor injuries, while tight end Pearce Spurlin has been medically retired due to a heart condition.

Despite the setbacks, Smart expressed confidence in the team’s depth. “It’s a chance for younger guys to step up and show what they can do,” he said during media availability.
