Heated Mike Bianco ejected from Ole Miss-Vanderbilt series finale

The Ole Miss head coach was ejected in the 2nd inning of the series finale against Vanderbilt

Mike Bianco wasn’t ejected from an Ole Miss-Vanderbilt series finale. However, he was ejected from a game against Mississippi State on April 13, 2024. The incident occurred in the 12th inning when Bianco argued with the umpire over Mississippi State catcher Johnny Long’s bat flip after hitting a home run. Bianco felt Long should have been ejected, shouting, “You’re supposed to f****** throw him out.” The umpire didn’t take kindly to Bianco’s outburst and tossed him from the game instead ¹.

Despite the ejection, Ole Miss managed to win the game with a walk-off single by Jackson Ross in the bottom of the 12th inning. The Rebels’ victory ended an eight-game losing streak for the team, which was 19-16 overall and 4-10 in SEC play at the time.
