He briefly hung on the rim before retreating to the visitor’s locker room and dissecting the footage of the game’s final moments.
As the expression goes, “It’s a make-or-miss league,” and the Bulls’ performance that night was a miss. However, DeRozan, who has been in multiple game-deciding moments in his NBA career, advised White not to linger on the missed shot, but to learn from it and move on.
“I usually watch Deebo (DeRozan), and one thing I’ve learned from him is that whether the shot goes in or not, he’s dealing with it. He motivated me after the game to go on, learn from it, and not linger on it.

“As I previously stated, those moments define the game, and I believe that moment defined the game. So, for me, I have to take it in stride, digest it, learn from it, and be better the next time,” White said.
“For me to take the necessary steps toward becoming the player I want to be in this league, I need those moments. So this is all part of the learning process. “It is all part of the journey.”
