Wolves have been connected with a number of attackers in recent months, since the position has emerged as a significant weakness.
While there are numerous excellent players in the Molineux squad who can play across the front line, Wolves are lacking a clinical attacker up front to elevate their game.
As a result, a real number nine is believed to be Gary O’Neil’s main transfer priority in January and beyond.

Wolves have expressed interest in many players, notably Che Adams and Nigerian prodigy Rafiu Durosinmi.
As the January transfer window approaches, Wolves have been cautioned that one addition may be significantly better.

“If he came in and made an immediate impact, you suddenly have this player who nobody else in the league knows what to do with or what his strengths are.”
When everyone else adjusts, you may take advantage of it and prosper.
“I think Wolves will get smart, and I’d be surprised if they were to go and sign somebody like Che Adams because recruitment is stretched further than that now.”
