Pep Guardiola has stated that Erling Haaland has yet to workout with Manchester City as he recovers from a foot injury.

Haaland traveled to the Club World Cup with City last week, training separately in Saudi Arabia, with photographs posted by the club on social media indicating he had ramped up his comeback to training. However, those images were eventually erased, and Haaland was unable to play in Wednesday’s Premier League match against Everton.
Guardiola explained Haaland’s new recuperation timetable, saying the fixture scheduling made it difficult to reintegrate the striker to training, putting him out of Saturday’s match against Sheffield United.
He is still not in the team. “He looks stronger with his bone, but he hasn’t attended a single training session with us,” Guardiola told Amazon Prime.
“Unfortunately, December is extremely crowded with so many teams.” January is quite packed. Hopefully, he’ll be able to rejoin us in January.”
Guardiola also provided an update on Kevin De Bruyne, who has been out with a hamstring injury since August but is now back in training with the first team.
“He’s returning. “He trained with us last week,” the manager explained. “Today he had a little bit of fatigue because he’s training hard but of course he’s so important for us, like Erling.”
City are also missing Jeremy Doku against Everton, while Ruben Dias joined the list of absentees with illness.
