Golden State Warriors

Golden State Warriors Star spoke bluntly when asked about his 60-point game.

On Saturday night, superstar guard Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors had another performance for the ages, with the future Hall of Famer dropping a season-high 60 points on the Atlanta Hawks.

Curry was a man possessed while scoring at will against the Hawks on the road at State Farm Arena, as the perennial All-Star shot 22-for-38 from the floor and 10-for-23 from beyond the arc.

Unfortunately for Curry, he didn’t get much help from his teammates, and as a result, the Warriors fell to the Hawks in Atlanta in overtime, 141-134.

With the Warriors losing to the Hawks on Saturday night, Golden State fell to 21-25 on the season, further adding to a disappointing 2023-24 campaign that seems to be getting worse and worse for Curry and company.

After his 60-point performance against the Hawks, Curry wasn’t happy about another loss, even though he dropped a season-high point total via The Athletic.

“You can describe it however you want,” Curry said when asked about his 60-point performance.

Steph Curry scored. And he wouldn’t stop sizzling. By the time he was done he had 60 points…

In an overtime loss to the Hawks.

Even though Curry is averaging 28.1 points per game while shooting 45.9% from the floor and 41.1% from three-point range, the Warriors continue to struggle with Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins having forgettable seasons.

With Golden State continuing to struggle, the team could be among the most active teams heading toward the NBA trade deadline on February 8, as it seems as though the Warriors could make some substantial moves to get back on track in the Western Conference.

More News:  Steve Kerr announcement that he is leaving Warriors now another significant issue for team……

Only time will tell if the Warriors brass are truly willing to shake things up ahead of the deadline, but if they don’t, it could lead to a disappointing end to the season.
