A recent trip to Athens has proven pivotal for 4-star offensive lineman Breck Kolojay, who now views Georgia in an entirely new light. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound standout from Tennessee took an official visit to the University of Georgia, and according to multiple reports, the experience significantly boosted the Bulldogs’ standing in his recruitment.
Kolojay, a top-20 offensive tackle in the 2025 class, has been heavily pursued by several SEC and Power Five programs, including Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida. But after spending time with Georgia’s coaching staff, touring the facilities, and soaking in the program’s winning culture, he admitted that the Bulldogs “changed everything.”
“They made it feel like home,” Kolojay said following his visit. “The coaches were real with me, and I can see myself developing at a place like Georgia.” He highlighted offensive line coach Stacy Searels as a major influence, noting the coach’s NFL development track record and personal attention during the visit.
Beyond the coaching, the campus environment and Georgia’s player-led culture left a lasting impression. Kolojay spent time with current Bulldogs players who shared their own experiences about playing under Kirby Smart and the daily grind of competing at a championship level.
While Kolojay has not announced a final decision, Georgia has surged to the top tier of his list following the visit. With official visits continuing this summer, his recruitment remains fluid, but there’s no doubt the Bulldogs made a major move.
As Georgia continues to target elite talent to strengthen its offensive line, landing a commitment from Kolojay would mark another significant recruiting win. For now, the momentum is squarely in Athens’ favor, and Kolojay’s recruitment is one to watch closely in the wee
ks ahead.
