Anticipation is really beginning to ramp up for Georgia football fans on the recruiting trail. One name that every UGA fan is watching closely is five-star quarterback Jared Curtis, who is the No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 class.
Curtis has narrowed his recruitment down to Georgia and Oregon, and at this point it is still too close to know who the leader is. But with Curtis’s commitment date of May 5 fast approaching, Georgia and Oregon fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out where he is heading to play his college ball.
Everyone who follows recruiting knows that recruitments for top players will impact how things shake out with other top recruits. That is especially the case with the No. 1 quarterback in the country as everyone would love the opportunity to play with someone as talented as Curtis.
But there is one other recruitment trending Georgia’s direction that could increase UGA’s chances of landing Curtis.
