Four-Star OL Ryan Miret Picks Ole Miss After Visit, Shuts Down Recruitment
Ole Miss continues to build momentum on the recruiting trail, landing a major commitment from four-star offensive lineman Ryan Miret. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound trench standout from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, announced his commitment to the Rebels on Sunday, just days after wrapping up his official visit to Oxford. With the decision, Miret also confirmed that his recruitment is shut down โ no more visits, no more offers. He’s all in on Lane Kiffinโs program.
โI felt the love from the coaching staff, the players, and the entire environment in Oxford,โ Miret said. โIt felt like home, and that made the decision easy.โ
Miret is ranked as one of the top interior offensive linemen in the nation and brings both physicality and polish to the position. Heโs been a dominant force for St. Thomas Aquinas High School, known for producing high-level Division I talent, and he projects as a player who could contribute early in the SEC.
Ole Miss offensive line coach John Garrison was instrumental in sealing the deal, building a strong relationship with Miret over the past several months. The visit gave Miret a close-up look at the Rebelsโ offensive system, strength program, and culture โ and all of it clicked.
โThe vision they have for me on the line and what theyโre building as a team โ itโs something I want to be part of,โ Miret added.
Miret chose Ole Miss over offers from programs such as Florida, Miami, LSU, and Penn State. His commitment is a huge win for the Rebels, who are looking to reload their offensive front with elite talent in the 2025 class.
With Miret now in the fold, Ole Miss strengthens its pipeline into the talent-rich state of Florida. He becomes one of the highest-rated offensive linemen in the Rebels’ current class and is expected to serve as a key peer recruiter for other top targets.
Lane Kiffin and his staff have emphasized line-of-scrimmage talent as a priority in this cycle, and Miret fits the mold perfectly โ tough, smart, and ready to battle in the SEC trenches.
For Ryan Miret, the recruitment journey ends in Oxford. And for Ole Miss, it may just be the start of a pivotal summer in the race to build one of the SECโs top 2025 classes.
