A former Gamecock with an NBA connection has announced his next school. Former South Carolina men’s basketball player Austin Herro has committed to the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, he announced via Instagram on Friday. Herro is the younger brother of Tyler Herro, an NBA All-Star guard with the Miami Heat. The younger Herro played two seasons at USC and appeared in 10 games for coach Lamont Paris’ team during
