Former Colorado WR Grant Page
In another strategic transfer portal move, BYU Football has landed former Colorado wide receiver Grant Page. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound sophomore brings speed, route-running ability, and untapped potential to a BYU receiving corps that is looking to make a major leap in the upcoming season.
Page, a standout high school recruit from Colorado who earned All-State honors, originally committed to Nebraska before flipping to Colorado. He saw limited action during his time in Boulder due to depth chart competition and injury setbacks, but his upside remains high. With three years of eligibility remaining, Page sees BYU as a fresh start and a chance to grow under a system that values his skill set.
“I’ve been watching BYU’s offense and how they trust their receivers to make big plays,” Page said. “That’s something I want to be part of. The coaches believe in me, and I’m ready to prove myself.”
BYU’s offensive staff has made no secret of its desire to get faster and more dynamic on the perimeter. Page’s addition follows a string of offseason changes aimed at injecting athleticism into the Cougars’ passing game. Wide receivers coach Fesi Sitake praised Page’s versatility: “Grant can play inside or outside, he’s got great hands, and he brings a competitive edge that we love.”
While Page will need to earn his place on the depth chart during fall camp, early projections suggest he could play a key role in BYU’s three or four-wide receiver sets. He’ll also likely compete for time on special teams as a return option.
As BYU continues to reshape its roster for the Big 12, Grant Page represents both a short-term weapon and a long-term investment in explosive offensive talent.
