Andy Gray, a former Aston Villa player, believes Villa midfielder Leander Dendoncker should be punished for turning his back on the ball during Manchester United’s second goal on Boxing Day.
Aston Villa blew a two-goal lead at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, as Manchester United rallied from behind to win three points against Unai Emery’s side.

took the lead against the Red Devils after John McGinn’s free kick in the 21st minute and Dendoncker’s goal in the 26th minute.
Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho scored their second goal in the 71st minute as a result of an error by Aston Villa midfielder Dendoncker.
Gray, who was displeased with Dendoncker’s decision to turn his back on the ball in the build-up to the goal, said that he would now penalize the Belgian midfielder for his error.
Dendoncker has made 12 league appearances for Aston Villa thus far, and he made his league debut on Boxing Day against Manchester United.
