Florida State University’s (FSU) men’s basketball standout, Jamir Watkins, has been honored with a selection to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Second Team for the 2024–25 season. This accolade underscores Watkins’s exceptional performance and significant contribution to the Seminoles’ basketball program.
A Stellar Season for Watkins
Throughout the 2024–25 season, Watkins emerged as a pivotal player for FSU. He led the team in scoring, averaging 18.5 points per game, and consistently demonstrated his scoring prowess. His efforts were instrumental in several of the Seminoles’ key victories during the season.
All-ACC Second Team Recognition
The ACC’s All-Conference teams are determined through a voting process that considers players’ performances throughout the season. Watkins’s impressive statistics and consistent excellence earned him a spot on the All-ACC Second Team, receiving 150 points—the 10th-highest total among all ACC players. Notably, he was the sole representative from FSU on the All-ACC teams.
