Brigham Young University (BYU) proudly celebrated the academic accomplishments of 87 student-athletes who graduated during the 2023–24 academic year. These remarkable individuals balanced the rigorous demands of collegiate athletics with their academic responsibilities, earning degrees in a variety of disciplines. Their graduations occurred between December 2023 and August 2024, marking an important milestone in both their academic and athletic journeys.

These student-athletes represent a wide range of sports, including football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field, swimming and diving, tennis, golf, and more. Each of them brought dedication, discipline, and resilience to their dual roles as students and athletes. BYU has long prided itself on developing the whole person—academically, spiritually, and athletically—and this graduating class exemplifies that commitment.

The process of balancing academics with the intense training and travel schedules of collegiate sports is no small feat. Early mornings, late-night study sessions, and missed classes due to competition are common challenges. Despite these obstacles, these 87 graduates demonstrated the persistence and determination necessary to complete their degrees. Many of them also earned academic honors and accolades during their time at BYU, showcasing their commitment to excellence in every aspect of their college experience.

The support of coaches, academic advisors, and the BYU Athletics Department played a crucial role in helping these student-athletes succeed. BYU provides a strong support system to ensure athletes are not only performing on the field but also thriving in the classroom. From structured study sessions to academic mentorship, the university places a high priority on educational success.

Several of the graduates have already accepted job offers, internships, or positions in graduate programs, while others are pursuing opportunities in professional sports. Whether stepping into the workforce or continuing their education, these individuals leave BYU well-prepared for the next phase of their lives. Their time as Cougars has instilled in them values such as integrity, hard work, and a commitment to service—qualities that will serve them well beyond college.
