Duke lands commitment from former South Dakota OL Jordan Larsen

Duke University’s football team has landed a commitment from Jordan Larsen, a former offensive lineman from the University of South Dakota. Here’s what we know about Larsen ¹ ²:

– *Position*: Left guard

– *Height and Weight*: 6-foot-3, 310 pounds

– *Experience*: Started 13 games at left guard for the Coyotes last season, missing one game due to injury

– *Performance*: Earned a 70.8 PFF overall grade, with a 64.5 pass-blocking grade and 71.5 run-blocking grade

– *Eligibility*: Has two seasons of eligibility remaining

– *Other Interest*: Received interest from Arizona, Illinois, Memphis, Tulsa, West Virginia, Kansas State, Vanderbilt, and Tulane

Larsen’s commitment to Duke is a strategic move to bolster the team’s offensive line depth, particularly after Micah Sahakian’s injury. With his skills and experience, Larsen is expected to make a significant impact on the team. Duke’s coaching staff is likely excited to have him on board, given his potential to start games and contribute to the team’s success.

Larsen’s background is also notable, as he went unrated and unranked coming out of high school in 2022. However, he’s since developed into a promising player, and his commitment to Duke is a testament to his hard work and dedication. With two years of eligibility remaining, Larsen has plenty of time to grow and develop with the Blue Devils.
