DraftKings has revealed the players with the highest odds to win the Heisman Trophy for the 2025 college football season, featuring two quarterbacks from Alabama.
Both Ty Simpson, a redshirt junior, and Austin Mack, a redshirt sophomore, are listed with odds of +6000 to claim the prestigious award, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Simpson, who served as Alabama’s backup quarterback last season behind Jalen Milroe, has played in 16 games since joining the team in 2022 as a five-star recruit from Tennessee. During his limited playing time, he has thrown for 381 yards, rushed for 130 yards, and scored three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Austin Mack, a 6-foot-6, 236-pound quarterback from California, transferred from the University of Washington to Alabama in January 2024. He has appeared in one game for the Crimson Tide, completing two of three pass attempts for 39 yards and a touchdown.
Both Simpson and Mack will compete for Alabama’s starting quarterback position in the upcoming season, alongside Keelon Russell, a highly touted five-star recruit for 2025. This three-way battle for the starting spot will be closely watched as the season approaches.
