“Cowboys Eye Game-Changing Deal for Ravens Defender to Join Micah Parsons”

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly exploring a trade for a high-profile pass rusher from the Baltimore Ravens, who carries an $11 million salary for the 2025 season. This move aims to bolster their defensive lineup by pairing the new acquisition with star linebacker Micah Parsons. The Ravens’ player in question is entering the final year of his contract, with none of the $11 million guaranteed, making him a potential trade candidate due to salary cap considerations.

Parsons, a four-time Pro Bowler, is currently in discussions with the Cowboys for a contract extension that could make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. Reports suggest he is seeking a five-year deal worth approximately $40 million annually.

The potential trade and Parsons’ contract negotiations indicate the Cowboys’ commitment to strengthening their defense and securing key players for the long term.

The Dallas Cowboys recently made a blockbuster trade, as the team sent a 2026 third-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for wide receiver George Pickens. Both franchises also swapped late-round picks in 2027.

Adding Pickens to help quarterback Dak Prescott was a masterful move, but Last Word on Sports’ Anthony Palacios believes Dallas should now help superstar edge rusher Micah Parsons by trading for Baltimore Ravens breakout star pass rusher Odafe Oweh.

“Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys surprised many after finally getting a wide receiver in George Pickens. However, they could use some more work on their defense despite trading for Kenneth Murray Jr. and signing Jack Sanborn this offseason. Even if they extend Micah Parsons, they could use the presence of Oweh as a long-term linebacker, and the Cowboys are the most likely team to trade for him,” Palacios wrote.

More News:  Whether you see it as genius or gamesmanship, one thing is certain: Auburn is dominating the leaderboard, and they’re not apologizing for it.

Oweh had a breakout season in 2024, totaling ten sacks and 48 quarterback pressures with 31 defensive stops. The 26-year-old established himself as a key piece on Baltimore’s defense and looks to be a future building block for John Harbaugh’s squad.
